A particular version of the Fiat 508C with a 1098cc engine made its debut at the 1938 Mille Miglia. The car won in its category and from then until the beginning of the war its career was full of successes. The engine was boosted to 42 horsepower and the aerodynamic coupé body allowed a top speed of over 140 km / h. An interesting detail was the first Fiat with a continuous side, ie without the "step" between one fender and the other.
