After the SA22C / FB3S model, which had become a sort of icon of Japanese motoring, the Mazda RX-7 FC3S series, presented in 1985, trivialized the character of the car from an aesthetic point of view. The mechanics, however, were still very interesting, with a rotary engine (2x 654cc) boasting a power of 150 horsepower. The addition of a turbocharger in 1987 made the MX-7 even more powerful, with around 200 horsepower, which annoys the Porsche 944 Turbo. This series of the MX-7 remained in production until 1991.
