In the mid-seventies Autodelta seemed to want to pay attention also to rallies, for which it was decided to develop a version of the Alfetta GTV. It was decided to use a turbo engine and the necessary 400 examples of GTV 2.0 Turbodelta were built for Group 4 homologation. The 1962cc twin cam was equipped with a KKK turbo, for a power of 150 horsepower at 5500 rpm. Once homologation was obtained, the GTV Turbodelta was deployed in the race: performance was good but affected by poor reliability. Among the successes, there was that of Pregliasco / Reisoli at the 1980 Danube Rally, valid for the European championship.
