The 75 Evoluzione Group A that made its debut in the 1987 world touring car championship was derived from the 1.8i Turbo model. Prepared by Alfa Corse, it had an initial power of around 280 horsepower, which reached 375-390 in the 1990-1991 versions. At the end of 1988 the IMSA version achieved a victory in the Giro d'Italia with Patrese / Biasion / Siviero.
