The Bristol 402 was presented in 1949. It was a convertible whose lines recalled those of the 401 coupé, presented the year before. The 402 had a windshield cut at the top, on which the soft top rested directly. A larger tank had been created in the rear. The car, equipped with the 1971cc 6-cylinder, was produced in just 23 units and went out of production in 1950.
