Bo Hogell, a manufacturer of industrial machines, wanted to equip his company with a vehicle capable of displaying his skills. In 1984, Hogell contacted coachbuilder Leif Mellberg: based on a Saab 900, Mellberg obtained a vehicle halfway between a family car and a camper, with distinctive three-color side stripes and a rear cell inspired by Sbarro's 1979 WindHawk. interiors were very luxurious and even included a TV set.
