Without Michael Schumacher (missing for the first time since 1996), Ferrari faced the 2007 Formula 1 season with Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa. The car, the F2007, was conceptually new compared to the 248 of 2006. It was equipped with a 2398cc V8 engine, which was the element of continuity with the 248. With six wins, two second places and four third places, Kimi Raikkonen managed to conquer the world championship.
