Marketed since 1968, the Audi 100 was a classic sedan, available in both 4 and 2-door versions. The engines were 4-cylinder 1760 and 1871cc; in particular, the latter aimed to compete with the most accredited BMW and Mercedes. Quite original from the point of view of suspension design, the 100 was produced up to 1976 in nearly 800,000 units.
