Looking for an engine supplier for 1995, Eddie Jordan contacted Ford before signing a three-year deal with Peugeot, which gave the team some stability. Jordan 195 was finished in late January 1995. 1994 drivers Eddie Irvine and Rubens Barrichello were confirmed. A decent season allowed Jordan to take sixth place overall among the constructors. Barrichello (11th with 11 points) took a surprising second place in Canada as best result, while Irvine (12th with 10 points) was third, also in Canada.
