The Audi STW A4 Quattro was the heir to the 80 Competition in the D2 (Superturismo) championships. The car, in its first configuration, competed from 1995 to 1997 in Germany, England, Australia, Italy, Spain and Belgium. The debut took place on 23 April 1995 in Misano, on the occasion of the Italian Superturism Championship. The car was equipped with a 1998cc in-line 4-cylinder engine, with an output of 285 horsepower at 8250 rpm. The traction was integral. In 1995, the A4 achieved 27 victories, concluding its competitive year on November 25 at Kyalami (Super Touring International).
