After the Reventon Coupé, Lamborghini presented the Roadster configuration at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009. This time, however, the Reventon Roadster was based on the new Murcielago LP670-4 SV, resulting in the Roadster boasting 20 horsepower more than the 2007 Reventon coupe. Sixteen units were produced and one of the buyers was the designer Ralph Lauren, who he set up his car on the Long Island premises along with Bugatti Veyron, Porsche Carrera GT and McLaren F1.
