The 99 was one of the most creative Saabs, launched in 1967. Initially marketed in the 2-door configuration, the 99 then offered other body types: 4-door sedan, 3-door combi, 5-door combi hatchback. In the seventies and eighties the car underwent several modifications, including the introduction of turbocharged engines. Production of the Saab 99 ceased in 1984.
