In 2006, one year after winning the second world title in F1 with Alonso, Renault Sport presented the Clio III RS: the 1998cc F4R 830 engine developed 200 horsepower with a maximum torque of 215 Nm at 5500 rpm. In 2007, the R27 version was presented, an exclusive series that featured a Cup chassis, an even sportier trim and other preparatory work. The car was equipped with Recaro racing seats and a “Renault F1 Team” decoration.
