Throughout its sporting career, the Aston Martin DB3S benefited from several evolutions. Two coupes (chassis DB3 S / 6 and DB3 S / 7) were also prepared for the 1954 season, entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. One of the two cars received a compressor that brought the power to 240 horsepower. Both cars went off the track and were rebuilt with open bodywork.
