The name Stutz, a glorious American brand founded in the early 1910s, was revived in the early seventies for a curious and extravagant luxury car called Blackhawk. Blackhawk had been called a Stutz range dating back to the years 1929-1930, a time when the manufacturer was trying to introduce a line of cheaper cars. The Stutz of the seventies had Pontiac mechanics.
