Legend has it that the A90 Atlantic was born from a design by President Austin, Leonard Lord. What is certain is that the A90 was one of the first British cars designed from scratch after the war. The style was very American, with a long front fender that ended at the height of the rear wheel. The A90 did not have much commercial success, neither in Europe nor in the United States. Equipped with a 2660cc engine, the A90 was produced from 1949 to 1952.
