The first generation of the Vauxhall Viva (model HA) was marketed in 1963. It was the English version of the Opel Kadett, equipped with a 1057cc inline 4-cylinder engine (44 horsepower). Over the years, mainly aesthetic improvements were introduced. The Viva HA went out of production in 1966 with nearly 310,000 units sold.
