SOLIDO - ALFA ROMEO - 2000 GTV 1971

Recognizable by its new horizontal bar grille that contained the Alfa emblem in the center, the 2000 GT Veloce was the latest evolution of the Bertone coupé. A few more subtle tweaks (larger rear lights, snake instead of the four-leaf clover on the C-pillar) completed this slight facelift without altering the original silhouette. The interior is new, with a very sporty dashboard but a lower quality of materials in general. Very fast and equipped with the sturdy 2-liter engine, the 2000 GTV brought a marked improvement in traction with the self-locking axle fitted as standard. Production went from 1971 to 1977 with around 37,000 units.
