SPARK-MODEL - DALLARA - ORECA N 14 6th LE MANS 2002

The Dallara SP1 LMP900 class was developed for the Oreca team, which used it in endurance races since 2001. Chrysler bought the project which proved to be very valid right from the start. The car was powered by the American-made 6-liter V8 Mopar engine. In 2002 Chrysler retired and the car was managed entirely by Oreca which installed a 5-liter Judd V10 engine, derived from that of the F1 BMS Dallara a few years earlier. Also in 2002 the American team Doran bought a frame modifying it for the Grand-Am. The Dallara SP1 career was very long: an example prepared by the English Rollcentre team ran until 2005 with both the Judd engine and the works Nissan.
