Toyota took up the challenge of the new 2022 rally regulations with the Yaris WRC. The Japanese manufacturer has a long tradition in rallying, with five constructors 'titles (1993, 1994, 1999, 2018, 2021) and seven drivers' titles (1990, 1992, 1993, 1994, 2019, 2020, 2021). After a successful 2021 (nine WRC victories and double title), the team managed by Jari-Matti Latvala and Kaj Lindstrom is focusing on a development of the previous car, adding regular and in-depth work on the hybrid system. The starting drivers are Evans, Rovanpera, Katsuta and Lappi, who can be joined by Sébastien Ogier.
