The Fiat Uno was to be the first Lancia citycar. However, the project was so good that Fiat decided to keep it for themselves. In Lancia (Autobianchi) they were therefore forced to extend the career of the A112, studying an alternative car based on the Fiat Panda. Thus was born the Y10, a car with a very original line that was a great success with the public. The finish was accurate and the range was gradually enriched with many versions, including a Turbo sports car. Marketed abroad as Lancia after the first restyling in 1989, the Y10 had a second restyling in 1992.
