After being damaged at the 1966 12 Hours of Sebring, the Ferrari 365 P chassis 0838 owned by NART was fitted, in time for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with an aerodynamic rear end, conceived in Piero Drogo's workshops in Modena. In 1967 the rear of the car was further modified, with the addition of two fins. At the end of 1967 the # 0838 Ferrari was again elaborated, this time with a body, again designed by Drogo, which incorporated an adjustable rear wing. Sold to William Cooper, it competed in some competitions in 1969. In the 1970s it joined the collection of Pierre Bardinon and was restored to its original 1965 configuration.
