Introduced in 1994, the Coupé was part of a vast renewal program of the whole range that Fiat had started with a large investment. The platform was that of the Tipo, on which the well-known 4-cylinder 2000 Lampredi engine was mounted, with or without turbocharger. In 1997 an 1800cc 16v with 130 horsepower and the 5-cylinder Lancia K were introduced, with powers ranging from 147 to 220 horsepower in the 20v Turbo version. This latter engine was able to rival without problems the 16v mounted on the Delta Integrale. The Coupé went out of production in 2000.
