The Alfa Romeo 1900 was declined in multiple sports variants with coupé bodywork, by coachbuilders such as Ghia, Touring or Zagato. It was Zagato, the famous Milanese body shop, who built a 1900 Super Sprint in a small series, intended for racing with aluminum sheet panels to achieve maximum lightness by following particular aerodynamic insights, evident in the front lines and in the lowered windshield.
