The prestige of Rolls Royce in the United States reached such levels that the British company decided to set up a production in Springfield, Massachusets. The American production line went on from 1921 to 1931 with special versions of the Silver Ghost until 1926 and then with the Phantom limousines, sport torpedos and roadsters until 1931. The level of assembly and care of the American Rolls was the same as UK production.
