Among the most important compact cars launched in the USA in the sixties there was certainly the Ford Falcon, which enjoyed considerable success since 1960. In 1963 a slight restyling was carried out and the Futura range was born, which, in addition to the Sedan, included the Hardtop Coupé and Convertible. The restyling of 1964 led to more squared and aggressive lines plus wire-styled rims covers. The Hardtop's engine was the 164 hp-260ci V8.
