In 1966, the Mustang's cousin was equipped with first choice engines and in 1967 it took another step: in addition to the 320hp 390ci, there was also the aggressive 425hp 427ci. Outwardly, the GT model was recognized by the two air intakes on the hood, dual exhaust, powerful front disc brakes and some aesthetic improvements.
