Presented in February 2021 and marketed in April of the same year, the fifth generation of the Mercedes C-class is inspired by the design of the CLA. The major revolutions are in the cockpit, with an impressive console similar to that of the S-Class. Although the body style does not seem to have changed too much, the new C-Class is based on a new platform, which has allowed the adoption of the four steering wheels. Initially, the range of engines, as usual for Mercedes, is quite limited: the manufacturer proposed the 1497cc petrol and 1993cc diesel, with micro-hybridization, but rechargeable hybrid variants are planned, in addition to the AMG sporting trims.
