The Fun Cruiser, known in Europe as the Rav-4, was unveiled at the 1993 Tokyo Motor Show and was first marketed as a three-door body with a 2000cc twin-cam four cylinder that developed 129 horsepower. With its low weight, the Rav-4 had almost GTI performance ... The five-door came later in the summer of 1995. A restyling was conducted in November 1997 and production continued until 2000.
