Introduced in 2017, the Mercedes AMG One was finally marketed in 2022, on the occasion of the AMG 55th. The edition is limited to 275 examples for what is the fourth model developed 100% by AMG. The car has a carbon frame with additional aluminum subframes. The mechanics are of unique complexity and refinement: the 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 derives from the unit used in Formula 1, and develops 1063hp at 9000 rpm: 574hp comes from the endothermic unit, while another 122hp is guaranteed by an electric motor (MGU-H). The second electric motor (MGU-K) develops another 163hp, and is connected directly to the crankshaft. The last two engines (MGU-FL and FR), placed on the front axle, are managed independently and develop 163hp each. The transmission is sequential with 8 gears. The One is capable of a top speed of 352 km/h with acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 2”9. The weight (1695 kg) is not indifferent, and is higher than what was announced in the concept car (1.3 tons). This makes the One less agile than a competitor like the Aston Martin Valkyre. The price? 2.7 million euros.
