Presented at the 1956 Turin Motor Show, the Alfa Romeo Super Flow Pininfarina was characterized by a futuristic and spectacular line, bordering on provocation. The car derived from the Alfa Romeo 6C 3000 CM chassis. The interiors were also particularly futuristic, with a steering wheel with boomerang-shaped spokes and many other oddities that recalled science fiction films. Aldo Brovarone was the one who designed the first sketches of the Super Flow, which was then developed jointly under the supervision of Battista “Pinin” Farina, his son Sergio and engineer Carli. Subsequently, the bodywork of the Super Flow was modified several times, giving rise to further style exercises, always on the same chassis.
