Starting from the base of the 365 GT4 / BB of 1973, in 1976 the 4943cc 12-cylinder boxer was used for the 512BB, which took up the shape of the 365, with some differences in details, such as the front spoiler, two NACA vents on the sides and circular rear lights with two instead of three elements. The 512BB had 4 Weber 40UCF3C carburettors, which were replaced in 1981 by Bosch K-Jetronic injection on the 512BBi model. The BB immediately became a very coveted car and certainly one of the most fascinating road Ferraris ever, for its line and the high performances.
