The Bugatti T57S45 is a car with a very particular history, prepared specifically for a race - the 1937 ACF Grand Prix - but which, despite its good performances, only took part in the tests and never reappeared. Developed after the success at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1937 with the T57C Tank, the T57S45 was developed by Jean Bugatti in view of the ACF GP which would be held fifteen days later (on 4 July) on the Linas-Montlhéry circuit. With an incredibly modern bodywork, the T57S45 was the true link between the T57C Tank of '37 and the one that would win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in '39.
