Lamborghini joined the Hypercar program by building an LMDh class car, complying with FIA-WEC and IMSA technical regulations. The SC63, brought to the track by Prema Racing and the Iron Lynx team, will debut in 2024. The SC63 is equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a seven-speed Xtrac transmission. Lamborghini is the only LMDh to use the Ligier chassis.

At the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024, Lamborghini fielded a second example of the new Hypercar for Grosjean, Caldarelli and Cairoli. The car finished 13th overall, still showing good reliability although still in need of development.
