In 1957 the coachbuilder Medardo Fantuzzi, who also worked for Maserati at the time, built an elegant Spyder on a 200 S Sport chassis, powered by the 1484cc four-cylinder in-line engine of the 150 S, the super-square engine designed by Bellentani for the small Sport entered production in 1955. The street car was called 150 GT and was characterized by a beautiful line, which was affected by some stylistic elements seen on Frua's A6G 2000 Spyder. The double "tails" at the rear are characteristic, while the front was more traditional, with the typical oval grille and a long frieze that ran from the windshield to the entire engine hood.
