The Ferrari 250 GT Lusso appeared at the 1962 Paris Motor Show. The sobriety and elegance of the exterior lines, as always due to Pininfarina, was echoed by the richness of the interior fittings. The engine was the famous type 168, 3-liter V12, developing 240 horsepower, powered in this case by three carburetors instead of six. The modifications made during the production (1962-1964) were quite few, except for some special bodywork. The Lusso, although not designed for racing, nevertheless had a racing career between 1963 and 1964.
