The Lada Niva is a legend, always in production since 1977, after over forty years of service! This small Russian 4x4 made the history of off-road motoring and managed to maintain its leadership in international sales at least until the nineties. It was also one of the favorite cars of the Paris-Dakar drivers. As for the mechanical evolutions, a 5-speed gearbox came in 1985, a new 1700cc engine was introduced in 1993, injection in 1995 and power steering in 2006. A restyling was introduced in 1994.
