Between the end of the seventies and the beginning of the seventies many European and American preparers built their particular versions based on the Porsche 935. In 1979 Reinhold Joest prepared a special 935, inspired by the bodywork of the 1977 935/77 and also using some details of the trellis frame of the 1400cc 935/2 (1977). The 935J (Group 5 and IMSA) was used in several races between 1979 and 1982.
MCG is a German brand that specializes in the production of 1:18 diecast models, with a particularly advantageous quality/price ratio. The subjects are very varied and also include racing cars that no other brand had yet reproduced in 1:18. There are also some Formula 1 models in the range. The MCGs do not have opening parts but are quite detailed.
