With the arrival of the 33 in 1983 and the exit of the Alfasud, the coupé version of the latter was simply called "Sprint". The model underwent a fairly thorough restyling, with a new grille, new rear lights and bumpers with plastic protections. The 1.5 version, called Sprint Quadrifoglio Verde (type 902A5B, had an increase of 10hp in the power of the 1490cc engine (type 30146), which thus reached 105hp at 6000 rpm. The cylinder head, intake manifolds and fuel supply were modified, with a different regulation of the carburettors and distribution. The acronym 902A5C was instead characterized by a version equipped with a gearbox with longer ratios. The maximum speed of the Quadrifoglio Verde was 180km/h, with an acceleration per kilometer from standstill of 31”6 also the interiors, with seats with mesh headrests and imitation leather steering wheel. This series of the Sprint remained in production until 1987, when the last series was introduced, destined to last until 1989.

Aesthetically, the Quadrifoglio Verde also stood out for its eye-catching alloy wheels. From the point of view of the available colours, the color range included Capodimonte white, Alfa red, metallic Nisida grey, metallic green and black.

MITICA-DIECAST

Mitica is a brand distributed exclusively by Carmodel, which includes 1:18 scale models. The range is divided into two large subgroups: resin models and diecast models. The latter have opening doors, working suspension and steering wheels. The historical research behind these models is very thorough.
