At the 1964 Turin Motor Show, the prototype of a Fiat 600 “Familiare” was presented, a successful stylistic evolution of the 600 Multipla, with a flattened and no longer inclined nose and with three rows of seats. The marketing of this vehicle began in May of the following year, with the mechanics of the 850, i.e. 100 G.000 type engine with 843cc and 33hp. At the 1970 Turin Motor Show the second series was presented, which received the new 903cc unit instead of the 850cc engine. The capacity of the Fiat 850 Familiare was 7 people + 70 kg in the boot or 1 person + 490 kg in total. The Fiat 850 Familiare was replaced by the 900 T in 1976, produced in eleven configurations until 1979.
The Fiat 850 Familiare was also used extensively as a service vehicle for the police. This version of the Police reproduces the blue and white livery that replaced the green one in 1976.
