After the failure of the Gamma, Lancia tried again with a large sedan, the Thema, which was presented in 1984 in four versions: 2000 naturally aspirated, 2000 turbo, 2900 naturally aspirated and 2500cc turbodiesel. In 1986 Lancia surprised by fitting the 3-litre Ferrari V8 engine in the Thema. Restyling in 1988 and third series starting from 1992. In 1994 the Kappa replaced the Thema, after 357,572 examples produced.
The Thema Ferrari 8.32 held the top speed record for a front-wheel drive car: 240 km/h. Even today the Thema Ferrari is considered one of the iconic cars of the 1980s.
Mitica is a brand distributed exclusively by Carmodel, which includes 1:18 scale models. The range is divided into two large subgroups: resin models and diecast models.
