The MkII is one of the most famous Jaguars of the fifties and sixties, characterized by a modern line and cutting-edge solutions at the time such as disc brakes and a wider rear track. Produced since 1959, the MkII received three engines: 2483, 3443 and 3781cc, all 6 cylinders in line. From September 1965, fully synchronized transmission was introduced. The MkII knew a rather extensive use also in competitions. Production stopped in 1967.
