With the first real restyling in 2009, the Discovery 3 changed its name to Discovery 4. This update was mainly aesthetic: the Discovery received a look derived from the Range Rover L322 and Sport: honeycomb grille, LED headlights, redesigned front and etc. The Discovery 4 was updated in 2011 and 2013, with mechanical changes as well. Production ceased in 2016 to make way for the “New Discovery”.
