After World War II, Alvis continued the production of high-class and superior performance cars, capable of competing with the best British brands. The 2993cc 6-cylinder engine was continuously developed, from the first models of 1950 until 1967. The TF21, presented in 1965, is the last Alvis before Rover bought the brand. On the TF21 the 3-liter engine had reached a power of 150 horsepower, a huge leap compared to the 83 of the first units.
