Lloyd was a German brand of economy cars, belonging to the Borgward group. The first cars of the low range were marketed starting in 1950, but the brand was already known since the 1940s for trucks and Hansa-Lloyd luxury cars. The Arabella was a medium-sized car with a 4-cylinder engine, the last of which were marketed under the Borgward brand. The Arabella remained available from 1959 to 1961, with different configurations, including the De Luxe version or the Coupé designed by Frua.
