The Bristol 404 was presented in 1953. Equipped with the well-known 1971cc 6-cylinder, it was a sporty and elegant coupé, the first Bristol introduced some stylistic elements destined to characterize the production of the second half of the fifties, such as the trapezoidal grille. Aluminum was used for the bodywork. The engine received several updates, reaching a power of 140 horsepower. The 404 went out of production in 1955.
