In the second half of the fifties there were three body builders who tried their hand at the A6G-54: Zagato, Frua and Allemano. While the first two built both coupe and spider bodies, the third focused only on the coupe model. Twenty-one were the examples produced with Allemano bodywork, characterized by less aggressive lines than the designs of Zagato and Frua. The interventions included a conspicuous air intake on the hood and a rather heavy front grille.
