If the Koleos was a Samsung model, developed and manufactured in South Korea, the Kadjar is Renault's first true compact SUV. For the technical part, however, it relies heavily on the components of another car of the group, the Nissan Qashqai. While commercial success was satisfactory enough at the start of production, competition from the Peugeot 3008 subsequently made itself felt. Launched in May 2015, the Kadjar underwent restyling in September 2018. The main engines are the 1200 petrol and the 1500-1600 diesel.
