The new 8 series was presented in June 2018 (coupe) and in November 2018 (convertible). Marketing began for the coupé in November 2018, while for the convertible it had to wait until March 2019. The range consists of various engines: 2998 and 4395cc petrol and 2993cc turbodiesel. The traction is integral in all versions, with 8-speed automatic transmission. The sportiest model is the M8, equipped with the 4.4-liter 8-cylinder engine which in this version develops a power of 625 horsepower at 6000 rpm.
