Presented in March 1989 at the Geneva saloon, the Mercedes R129 series was a real revolution in the automotive world. At the same time sweet and angular, full of quality and serious technology, this Mercedes was produced in a wide range of engines, including the 500SL with a 5-liter V8 engine. The car, now a classic in Mercedes production, was replaced in 2001 with the release of the new R230. Among the various engines we can mention the 300SL, the 300SL 24 valves and the 600SL with the V12 of almost 400 horsepower.
